Privacy policy

Summary

PolyBudget keeps your budget on your device. We don't have accounts, we don't use cookies or tracking, and we never sell or share your data.

This policy covers the PolyBudget app and this website, polybudget.app. The person responsible for your data is Baker Aqeel Alobair, Amman, Jordan. Contact: support@polybudget.app.

The app

Your budget (accounts, transactions, settings) is saved on your device, in your browser's storage or in a file you choose. We never receive it.

If you turn on automatic exchange rates, the app asks a rate provider for the latest rates: ExchangeRate-API (open.er-api.com) first, and if it is unavailable, the free fawazahmed0 currency API (served through cdn.jsdelivr.net or currency-api.pages.dev). The request contains only currency codes. Like any web request, it also reaches the provider with your IP address, under that provider's own privacy policy. Offline mode is on by default, and then the app sends no rate requests.

This website

Cloudflare hosts this website and the app. To deliver and protect them, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address and browser type. We don't use this data to identify you.

We use no analytics, no cookies, no advertising and no third-party scripts.

The waitlist

If you join the waitlist, we store your email address, the language you chose, your country (worked out by Cloudflare from your connection; we don't store your IP address) and the time you joined.

We use this only to email you about the launch of PolyBudget. The list is stored with Cloudflare and is not shared or sold.

To be removed, email support@polybudget.app from that address. We delete it and confirm.

Purchases

When you buy PolyBudget, Lemon Squeezy processes your order and payment as Merchant of Record, under its own privacy policy. The free Lite edition is delivered by Gumroad, under its own privacy policy.

We receive the order details we need to deliver PolyBudget and handle support and refunds: your name, email address, order number and what you bought. We never see your card details.

Emails to us

If you email us, we keep the conversation to answer you and handle any refund.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it. Email support@polybudget.app.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
